Barkingside Waffle

A few days ago I passed by the premises that used to house the old Post Office in Barkingside High Street and which have been empty for over two years now. There were new shutters covering the frontages and strange noises were emanating from within. Squeaking, grinding, howling noises indicating something unusual was going on behind closed doors.

And so it came to pass that we learn these premises are being transformed into a new Redbridge Council chamber in the form of a Waffle Bar.

Elsewhere, we now have another Florist on Broadway Parade where Miselles used to be, RAM estate agents have opened where Thomas Cook used to be and we have another Hair and Beauty place in the half unit where Fashion Nails used to be.

Further down the delicatessen has morphed into an eggless cake and bakers.
